Usually when I talk with brokers, owners and managers about ways to improve their businesses, the conversations invariably revolve around recruiting. For obvious reasons, that's the No. 1 topic for most real estate leadership.
Next on the list is retention. And then issues like commission splits, new business models, and company marketing.
Very rarely does the topic of company and office culture arise, and yet, culture in a real estate organization just may be the prime driver of all the other issues combined.
