Making Sales Meetings Your Agents WANT to Attend
A little preparation can go a long way in developing sales meetings that bring value to agents.
Manager's Memo by John Surge, February 2004
It’s an epidemic. The weekly real estate office sales meeting is becoming an endangered species, And who’s to blame?
Is it because of lazy, apathetic agents?
Is it because the industry trend is toward more independent agents with less of a bond to the company they’re affiliated with?
Or is it because managers simply are not offering value at these sales meetings?
Ouch, that strikes a nerve.
Could it be that we can’t blame agents for dwindling sales meeting attendance? Could it be that we have to look in the mirror, take accountability for our actions and blame ourselves?
