Official Rules for Gateway Getaway Giveaway
No purchase necessary to enter or win.
Sweepstakes entry period: The Gateway Getaway Giveaway begins 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on August 20, 2007 and ends 11:59 p.m. PT on October 15, 2007.
Eligibility: The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States, the District of Columbia and Canada and must be 21 years or older at the time of entry. The winner must be a licensed residential Realtor®, licensed residential real estate broker, licensed residential real estate manager or residential real estate brokerage owner.
How to enter: To enter online visit www.HobbsHerder.com/contest and follow all the instructions to complete and submit the online entry form. Limit one entry per person per e-mail address per 24-hour period. Online entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on October 15, 2007 in order to qualify for the Gateway Getaway Giveaway.
Consumer disclosures: No purchase necessary. Ends October 15, 2007. Prize/Approximate Retail Value: One grand prize: Roundtrip airfare for two to Las Vegas, NV, three nights at the Mirage Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, two tickets to the Hobbs/Herder Gateway Conference (ARV: $3,120).
Prize Details: The trip consists of roundtrip airfare tickets for one winner and one guest to and from a Las Vegas Airport. Airfare will be given in the form of a voucher worth $500. Three night double occupancy accommodations at the Mirage Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip November 27–November 29, 2007, worth $630. Two tickets to the Hobbs/Herder Gateway Conference worth $1,990. The winner will also receive a free marketing consultation and VIP seating during the conference. Actual value of trip depends on the location of winner and fares at the time of departure. If actual value of the trip is lower than ARV, the difference will not be awarded in cash. All meals, air or ground transportation (other than noted herein), taxes, gratuities, incidentals, service charges, car rental and car rental insurance or other expenses not specified herein are not included and are the winner's sole responsibility.
Airfare will be awarded as a voucher and the winner will need to contact airline and/or travel agent to make all flight arrangements. Winner and guest must travel with the same itinerary including the same departure and return dates. Advance booking, blackout dates and restrictions may apply. Availability is subject to factors such as weather, seasonality, and space availability. If, for any reason the winner or guest cannot travel after arrangements have been made and paid, then the Sponsors will have no further obligation to the winner or guest. However, winner may transfer tickets to another Hobbs/Herder Gateway conference but payment of travel and hotel accommodations will be voided. Winner and guest are responsible for obtaining proper travel documentation.
Random drawing: The winner will be selected by a random drawing of all eligible online entries received by 11:59 p.m. PT on October 15, 2007. The drawing will take place on October 16, 2007. The winner will be contacted by phone and confirmation will be sent by mail. An Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability will be sent with the winner's confirmation and must be completed and signed by the winner and guest and be returned to the sponsor within 14 days of notification. If winner cannot be contacted and the Affidavit/Release are not completed within the specified time, if winner cannot receive the prize for any reason, or winner is not compliant with the official rules, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. The prize is not redeemable for cash. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, local, provincial sales and income taxes associated with winning prize. Any other incidentals not specified herein are the responsibility of the winner. Entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission to use winner's name, prize won, hometown, likeness, photograph and statement for online posting and promotional purposes without further compensation, expect where prohibited by law. Prize is guaranteed to be awarded. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused.
